Redcastle Resources Limited (RC1) has confirmed that active mining operations are now underway at its Redcastle project in Western Australia. The company is advancing concurrent mining at its Redcastle Reef and Queen Alexandra deposits, where ore material is currently being extracted and stockpiled on site. This phase of development focuses on near-surface oxide material within the approved activity envelope.

The operations are being delivered through the Redcastle-BML Ventures joint venture. Under this arrangement, BML Ventures acts as the operator and is responsible for funding 100% of the mining and working capital requirements until the project reaches its first revenues. This capital-light structure allows Redcastle to preserve its balance sheet for broader corporate activities, including regional exploration, while it transitions from a pure explorer into an integrated gold mining and exploration company.

The two deposits are situated approximately 700 meters apart, which the company noted has allowed for operational efficiencies through the shared use of infrastructure and equipment. With surface clearing completed at the Queen Alexandra site, concurrent extraction at both locations is now the current operational focus. The project team is preparing for the commencement of ore haulage in the near term, with final material destined for the Wiluna processing facility for toll-milling.

This update marks a progression from the company's initial announcement in May 2026, which first detailed the transition into active production. While the primary focus remains on the current mining activities, Redcastle continues to manage a wider portfolio in the Eastern Goldfields. This includes ongoing near-mine exploration within the Redcastle project area and preparations for targeted drilling in the TBone Belt scheduled for the second half of 2026.

Furthermore, the company has expanded its regional footprint through an earn-in agreement, securing a pathway to acquire a 60% interest in the Kilkenny Belt package. By balancing active cash-flow generation from the current joint venture with its systematic exploration pipeline, Redcastle is working to build value across its broader tenement holdings. Following the completion of the Kilkenny transaction and subject to the grant of pending applications, the company’s total interest will span over 150 square kilometers of tenements in the region. As mining operations progress, the company expects to provide further updates regarding its haulage schedule and the specific mining sequence at its active deposits.
