Redcastle Resources Reports Strong Queen Alexandra Gold Results
Redcastle Resources Limited (RC1) has released the initial findings from its grade-control drilling program at the Redcastle gold project in Western Australia. These results, stemming from the first half of an 8,810-meter reverse circulation campaign at the Queen Alexandra development area, confirm the presence of shallow, high-grade mineralization located approximately 700 meters west of current operations at the Redcastle Reef pit.
The drilling data demonstrates a consistent stacked lode architecture, validating the geological interpretation previously established. Significant intercepts from the initial 138 holes include a standout result of 11 meters at 8.55 grams per tonne of gold from a depth of 14 meters, which features a narrower, high-grade interval of 1 meter at 67.50 grams per tonne. Other notable findings include 3 meters at 10.05 grams per tonne from 21 meters and 4 meters at 7.49 grams per tonne from 30 meters. Approximately 64 percent of the holes returned at least one interval grading at least 1 gram per tonne of gold over a minimum two-meter width, suggesting broad mineralized potential within the targeted area.
Mining at the site is currently managed through the Redcastle-BML Ventures joint venture. The reported data provides the operational team with the necessary detail to refine local grade distribution and define more accurate ore-waste boundaries. By integrating this new information into the existing geological and grade-control models, the company aims to optimize mining operations and logistics across the broader development corridor shared by the Queen Alexandra and Redcastle Reef pits.
Management is continuing to process the remaining assay results from the total 8,810-meter program. Once these findings are received and validated through the company’s quality assurance and control protocols, they will be reported accordingly. These pending results, alongside the data already processed, are expected to play a critical role in the upcoming refinement of the Queen Alexandra mine plan, ensuring that future extraction activities are as efficient as possible.
