Redcastle Resources Limited has temporarily suspended mining operations at the Redcastle Gold Project following the halt of surface milling activities by toll treatment partner Wiluna Mining.

Under the Redcastle-BML Ventures Joint Venture, project operator BML Ventures wound down active extraction at the site effective 31 August 2026. BML has retained care and maintenance personnel at the mine site to maintain operational readiness and site security while commercial arrangements are re-evaluated.

The operational pause was triggered by a Carbon-in-Leach tank rupture at the Wiluna Gold Project processing plant in late July 2026. Following the incident, Wiluna Mining decided to stop all surface activities at its mill and defer third-party ore tolling schedules. The Wiluna facility was originally scheduled to receive initial ore stockpiles from the Redcastle mine site for batch milling in the coming weeks.

Mining operations at the Redcastle Gold Project encompass concurrent activities across two proximal deposits, Queen Alexandra and Redcastle Reef, situated approximately 700 metres apart within granted Mining Lease M39/318. Under the joint venture structure, BML acts as the operator and is responsible for funding 100% of mining and working capital requirements through to first revenues.

The joint venture partners are currently assessing alternative commercial and processing arrangements, including options that may facilitate the resumption of mining operations. While processing pathways are reviewed, Redcastle will continue to advance its exploration activities, including potentially drilling the highest value walk-up targets within its portfolio at the TBone Belt.
