Refined Energy Terminates Dufferin Uranium Option to Focus on Newfoundland Gold-Antimony Project

Refined Energy Corp. has terminated its option agreement to earn an interest in the Dufferin Uranium Project in Saskatchewan, walking away from the property following the completion of an initial exploration program and technical review with Eagle Plains Resources Ltd.
Chief Executive Officer Mark Fields explained the shift in capital allocation:
“We would like to thank Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. for the opportunity to explore and drill test the Dufferin Project. Following the completion of our initial exploration program and technical review, the Company has elected not to proceed with the option agreement. We remain committed to a disciplined approach to capital allocation and will now focus our exploration efforts on advancing the Golden Goose gold-antimony project in Newfoundland.”
With the Dufferin option relinquished, Refined Energy is redirecting its exploration efforts toward the Golden Goose property in Newfoundland. The company expects to receive an independent National Instrument 43-101 technical report for the Golden Goose Project in the near term as it develops future exploration plans for the asset.
The Newfoundland project sits within a regional district drawing ongoing exploration attention. New Found Gold reported high-grade gold results at its Queensway project within the surrounding district in July 2026, including an interval of 23.7 g/t gold over 15.88 metres.
