Right Resources Reports Metallurgical Results from Blue Prospect
Right Resources Ltd (RRE) has released the results of its initial metallurgical testwork program for the Blue Prospect, located in the Tumbarumba region of New South Wales. The company processed a 32-kilogram surface bulk sample, which returned a composite head grade of 0.48% tungsten trioxide (WO₃). This figure acts as the official feed grade for ongoing beneficiation studies aimed at determining the project's potential for producing a marketable tungsten concentrate.
While the composite sample provides a baseline for evaluation, individual sub-samples extracted from the bulk material yielded higher grades of 0.77% and 0.80% WO₃. The company clarified that these specific high-grade results are not considered representative of the overall composite sample. Instead, the 0.48% WO₃ head grade remains the primary metric used to assess the deposit's performance in recovery and upgrade processes.

The current laboratory program focuses on identifying how the tungsten mineralisation responds to various beneficiation techniques. This process includes determining the final achievable concentrate grade and overall recovery rates. To assist in this evaluation, the team is conducting size-by-assay and mineralogical studies. These investigations are designed to map how tungsten is distributed across different particle-size fractions and provide clarity on the liberation and mineral associations of scheelite and wolframite within the ore. Completion of these studies is a near-term objective for the metallurgical team.
Following these initial assessments, Right Resources expects to report further metallurgical findings throughout the second half of 2026. This data is expected to guide the next phases of project evaluation and assist in long-term development planning.
In addition to the metallurgical work, the company is preparing for a 3,000-metre air core and reverse circulation drilling program at the Blue Prospect. This drilling campaign is scheduled to commence in the third or fourth quarter of 2026. The combination of ongoing metallurgical analysis and the upcoming drilling program reflects the company’s intent to define the technical parameters of the site. These results remain a crucial component in determining whether the project can support future commercial development and production within the Tumbarumba district, as the company works to refine its understanding of the site's critical mineral potential.
