Riverside Resources Expands British Columbia Mineral Tenures
Riverside Resources Inc. (RRI) has significantly increased its land position in south-central British Columbia, securing new mineral titles that expand its footprint at both the Revel and Red Jacket projects. At the Red Jacket property, the company effectively doubled its controlled tenure area, while the Revel project saw a 30% increase. These expansions were designed to capture additional geological targets along strike from known mineralization, providing the company with more contiguous coverage across these prospective belts.
"Expanding our mineral tenure position at two of our growing British Columbia projects is a positive milestone for Riverside." — John-Mark Staude, President and CEO of Riverside Resources
The Revel project, located north of Revelstoke, targets rare earth elements within a carbonatite system. The company has identified a 12-kilometre-long prospective trend that remains largely undrilled. To advance this, Riverside plans to deploy an airborne geophysical survey in the coming weeks to further refine target horizons. Meanwhile, field exploration teams are active across both properties, with management anticipating that the expanded land packages will provide a more comprehensive platform for ongoing testing.
"Summer exploration programs are underway at both properties, and we expect results in the coming months." — John-Mark Staude, President and CEO of Riverside Resources
The Red Jacket project, situated near Clearwater, is a volcanogenic massive sulfide prospect. The area sits within the Eagle Bay Assemblage, a geological setting recognized for hosting copper, zinc, silver, and gold. Riverside’s recent work has focused on surface soil and rock sampling to outline a four-kilometre-long mineralized trend. By securing this additional ground, the company aims to solidify its control over the geological structure, which historical exploration efforts in the region have only partially tested.
The company’s decision to increase its acreage reflects a broader effort to improve the project profiles before potential future development steps. According to leadership, holding larger, consolidated land packages makes these properties more attractive for prospective partners who may eventually provide the funding necessary for advanced exploration or project-level transactions. This strategy emphasizes operating in stable, accessible jurisdictions, such as the current focus area in British Columbia, where existing road infrastructure facilitates cost-effective field work and rapid access to project sites for seasonal crews.
"Securing larger land packages that capture more of the productive belt strengthens our position, adds cost-effective value, and sets us up for partner funding transactions and expanded exploration in stable, easily workable jurisdictions." — John-Mark Staude, President and CEO of Riverside Resources
As the summer season progresses, the technical teams will continue to compile data from the ongoing mapping and geochemical programs. With these new claims secured, the company is positioned to integrate the expanded ground into its upcoming reporting, as field results are expected to be released throughout the remainder of the year.
