Riverside Resources Intersects Gold and Base Metals in Phase 2A Drilling at La Union Norte
Riverside Resources Inc. has intersected near-surface gold and base metal mineralization in its Phase 2A core drilling campaign at the La Union Project in northwest Sonora, Mexico, highlighted by hole UND26-015 at the Union Norte target, which returned 14.60 metres grading 0.45 g/t gold equivalent from 1.0 metre.
The Phase 2A program comprised seven drill holes totaling 530.1 metres, testing targets across the Union Mine, Union Norte, Jabali, and Luis Hill areas. Hole UND26-015 included a higher-grade interval of 4.60 metres grading 1.09 g/t gold equivalent from 8.00 metres. At the adjacent Union Norte target, hole UND26-014 returned 9.10 metres grading 0.76 g/t gold equivalent from 1.90 metres, including 1.5 metres of 3.38 g/t gold equivalent from 9.50 metres. Both holes successfully intersected an interpreted north-northwest trending feeder structure associated with carbonate-hosted replacement mineralization.

At the Union Mine target, hole UND26-013 tested the southward extension of the historic Sproul manto mine, intersecting anomalous lead and zinc values that indicate proximity to the replacement body. Additionally, an Induced Polarization geophysical survey at the Luis Hill target delineated a chargeability anomaly extending over one kilometre along strike and 200 metres in depth, coinciding with sediment-hosted gold mineralization identified during previous drilling.
Riverside holds the La Union Project under an option agreement with Questcorp Mining Inc., through which Questcorp provides exploration funding. The company previously completed a Phase 1 drill program at the project comprising 12 diamond core holes totaling over 1,600 metres across six priority targets.
Riverside plans to resume core drilling with the Phase 2B campaign at the La Union Project following the end of the monsoon season in early October 2026. The company is also evaluating a reverse-circulation drilling contractor for the upcoming phase to improve drilling efficiency through faulted ground conditions. Furthermore, Riverside plans follow-up drilling at the Luis Hill target to test the chargeability anomaly delineated by the Induced Polarization survey.
“Working with our partner Questcorp, we are pleased with the positive results from the initial part of Phase 2 drilling, and we look forward to further drilling once the rainy season ends.
