Rocky Shore Gold has discovered the Lucky 13 Gold Zone at its Gold Anchor project in central Newfoundland, intersecting 15.02 metres at 2.04 g/t gold in hole LP-26-13, including a 5.0-metre interval grading 3.85 g/t gold.

This intersection, recorded at a vertical depth of approximately 300 metres, represents the deepest gold hit to date within the program. According to the company, drilling at this depth shows more intense brittle deformation, stronger quartz veining, and increased silicification compared to near-surface intercepts.

The Lucky 13 discovery is situated within the Lane Pond Gold Target, an 11-kilometre-long geophysical anomaly associated with the Appleton Fault Corridor. The zone has been traced across a potential strike length of 1,800 metres, with intersections ranging between 6.38 metres and 17.02 metres in thickness.

The company’s inaugural diamond drill program at the project has completed 25 holes totaling 8,086 metres. While assay results from 15 holes have been returned and reported, the company expects to release additional assay results for drill holes 5, 6, 10, 14, and 20-25 as they become available.

The Lucky 13 discovery remains open in all directions. Rocky Shore reports that only 15% of the total Lane Pond Gold Target has been tested by the current shallow drilling program. The company is now applying a model where structural reactivation within the hydrothermal corridor potentially drives higher-grade gold mineralization at depth.
