Rokeby Resources Limited has established a maiden inferred JORC-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate of 66,565 tonnes at 5.29 grams per tonne gold for 11,337 ounces of gold for the Powers Gully tailings deposit.

The deposit forms part of the high-grade Omeo Gold Project in north-east Victoria, which Rokeby acquired in July 2026. Prior to the new estimate, the project was underpinned solely by a historical non-JORC estimate of 2.4 million tonnes at 4.02 g/t gold for 320,000 ounces. The maiden filing establishes a formal JORC resource classification specifically for Powers Gully, replacing the unclassified historical inventory for that deposit with defined tonnage and grade metrics.

The Powers Gully estimate stems from an expanded program covering tailings and mullock deposits across the Cassilis and Mt Wills goldfields. Rokeby is running further auger drilling and metallurgical test work to upgrade the Powers Gully resource to an indicated category and define initial JORC resources for the Wardens Mine, Maude and Yellow Girl tailings deposits.

The work forms part of an assessment of an early-stage production pathway involving a pilot processing plant. The company is working with the Victorian State Government to rehabilitate old remnant tailings and mitigate environmental liabilities in regional waterways while studying commercialisation options.

Alongside the tailings evaluation, Rokeby is concurrently running a 2,180-metre diamond drilling program at the Sunnyside deposit within the Mt Wills goldfield. The company scheduled the first update to the Omeo project resource model for September.
