Rokeby Resources Limited has returned high-grade assay results from the first three holes of its maiden nine-hole diamond drilling program at the Sunnyside deposit, located within the Omeo Gold Project in north-east Victoria.

The initial assay data includes hole 26SSDH001, which intersected 0.45 metres grading 29.2 grams per tonne of gold from 122.05 metres, supported by photon and fire assay duplicates. Hole 26SSDH002 returned 0.5 metres at 5.17 g/t gold from 120.5 metres. Hole 26SSDH003 intersected multiple narrow intervals, including 1.9 metres at 1.48 g/t gold from 226.2 metres, though the interval's suspected high-grade core was not fully recovered due to technical issues with the drill rig.

The Omeo Gold Project was acquired by Rokeby in July 2026, making the current 2,180-metre campaign the company's maiden exploration campaign at the asset. The project is underpinned by a historical estimate of 2.4 million tonnes at 4.02 g/t gold for 320,000 ounces of gold. Mining Licence MIN 4921 covering the Mt Wills goldfield, including the Sunnyside deposit, was renewed in May 2026 for a 20-year term to May 2044.

Drilling commenced on 28 May 2026, and the current campaign is designed to target known high-grade mineralisation shoots. The data is intended to update the historical figure to a JORC-compliant resource estimate. According to the company, hole 26SSDH001 encountered strong mineralisation further up the hole than anticipated, which is attributed to a previously unrecognised zone trending 074°–254° and dipping steeply toward 344°.

The geological team is currently compiling information for a JORC Mineral Resource Estimate update for the Omeo Project, due in September 2026. Hole 26SSDH007 of the nine-hole program is currently underway, with completion of the broader program and remaining assays expected through September.
