Rox Resources Lifts Youanmi Gold Reserves To 727,000 Ounces

Rox Resources Limited has updated its annual Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve estimates for the Youanmi Gold Mine in Western Australia, lifting total reserves by 8% compared to the figures detailed in the November 2025 Definitive Feasibility Study.
The updated Ore Reserve stands at 727,000 ounces of gold at 4.7 grams per tonne as at 30 June 2026, compared to 674,000 ounces in the previous study. The 52,000-ounce uplift follows mining depletion of 774 ounces and incorporates new operational data gathered after exposing several mineralization levels in the United North system. The reserves were calculated using a conservative gold price assumption of A$3,200 per ounce, well below current spot levels.
Total Mineral Resources for the 100%-owned project, held through subsidiary Rox (Murchison) Pty Ltd, reached 2.195 million ounces of gold as of 30 June 2026, up from 2.17 million ounces previously. Infill drilling completed across 2025 and 2026 drove a net 4% conversion of mineral resources from inferred to indicated classifications.
“Importantly, this update still showcases both resource growth at Youanmi and an uplift in reserves by 52,000oz of gold, or 8%, from the November DFS.” — Phill Wilding, Managing Director & CEO
The updated figures exclude assay results from the recent Interceptor surface drilling program and the underground grade control drilling program, both of which arrived after the estimation cutoff date. Rox plans to incorporate these datasets into subsequent resource revisions.
Development work continues across the site as the company targets first gold production in mid-CY 2027. The development schedule aligns with the company's broader corporate objective to establish Youanmi as a long-term operation producing 150,000 ounces per annum.
