Sable Resources has started its maiden diamond drill program at the Zorro Project in San Juan Province, Argentina. Field operations are now underway following a brief delay caused by heavy snowfall in the Central Andes, which had temporarily restricted site access.

The initial program is designed to test targets identified as Zorro Copper and Zorro North, as well as a recently defined IP conductivity-chargeability anomaly. Sable may look to expand the drill program depending on the results from this initial campaign and ongoing target-generation work.

The company holds C$13.5 million in cash and receivables, which it intends to use to fund this exploration and advance its wider portfolio.
