Sabre Resources Limited has completed the acquisition of a 4,000km² tenement package in the Northern Territory, securing control over prospective gold and copper-gold corridors on the extensions of the Tennant Creek Mineral Field. Concurrent with the settlement of this acquisition, the company has launched a maiden drilling program at the Kurundi North project.

The program involves up to 6,000m of aircore and reverse circulation (RC) drilling, marking a 20% increase in the planned scope compared to the 5,000m figure disclosed in June 2026. Drilling is currently targeting ironstone-hosted copper-gold mineralisation beneath shallow cover.

The acquisition, which includes the East Tennant Ridge and North Arunta Gold projects, follows Sabre’s earlier divestment of the Ninghan Gold Project to Capricorn Metals in May 2025 as part of a broader pivot toward the Tennant Creek region.

The current drilling campaign at Kurundi North is structured in two stages. The first involves aircore and slimline RC drilling to penetrate cover and test bedrock geochemical anomalies. A second stage of deeper RC drilling will then investigate zones identified as prospective ironstone geology. Results from this initial work will inform the design of follow-up diamond drilling, for which the company has already secured 50% co-funding from the Northern Territory Government.

Following the work at Kurundi North, Sabre plans to shift its attention to the 1,000km² North Arunta Gold Project. Environmental approval for drilling at that site remains pending, with targets focused on extending historical high-grade gold intersections identified along the Kroda Gold Trend.
