Sage Potash Corp. has completed drilling operations at the Peterson 1 well at its Sage Plain project in southeast Utah, reaching a total depth of 2,248 metres. The drill program successfully intersected the targeted Cycle 18 Upper and Lower potash-bearing beds.

Continuous core has been recovered from both mineralized intervals and is currently being prepared for shipment to the Saskatchewan Research Council in Saskatoon. Once received, the material will undergo detailed geological logging and assay testing. This work forms part of a broader data collection effort designed to validate the continuity, thickness and grade of the potash mineralization.

In addition to the core recovery, the company is currently completing a comprehensive suite of downhole geophysical surveys at the Peterson 1 site. This work includes a gamma ray survey, which identifies the presence of potash and provides essential geological data to complement the forthcoming laboratory results.

The technical data gathered from these geophysical surveys and the laboratory analysis will be used to support future resource updates, engineering studies and overall project development. The company expects to release these assay results to the market once the analytical process is complete.

Following the announcement, Sage Potash shares closed at $0.12, representing a 4.35% increase on August 5, 2026. The move in the share price coincided with the update on the successful completion of the drill program and the recovery of core samples.
