Sailfish Royalty Delivers Net Income of $136.56M in Q2

Sailfish Royalty Corp. reported net income of $136,564,638 for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, marking a substantial increase from $185,318 in the same period of 2025.
Total revenues for the quarter grew to $1,337,108, up from $713,178 in the second quarter of the previous year. Royalty revenue contributed $846,186 of the total, compared to $626,603 in the prior-year period.
The financial results were driven in part by the closing of a share purchase agreement on April 10, 2026. Sailfish completed the sale of all issued and outstanding shares of its wholly owned subsidiary Terraco Gold Corp. to OR Royalties Inc. for after-tax cash consideration of $168 million.
Operational output also increased during the quarter. Sailfish earned 6,268 silver ounces from stream interests, rising from 1,672 ounces in the second quarter of 2025. The company also received and sold 827 ounces of gold under its gold purchase agreement with Mako Mining Corp., generating proceeds of $3,856,595, whereas it recorded nil ounces for the corresponding period last year.
Following the asset sale, Sailfish fully repaid its short-term loan and accrued interest on April 13, 2026, clearing $40 million in principal alongside $1,794,310 in interest.
Sailfish holds three main assets across the Americas, including a gold stream equivalent to a 3% net smelter return on the San Albino gold mine and a 2% net smelter return on the surrounding area in northern Nicaragua, as well as a 2% net smelter return on the Gavilanes Silver Project in Mexico.
