Sasquatch Resources Launches $500,000 Private Placement for Exploration and Working Capital
Sasquatch Resources has initiated a non-brokered private placement to raise aggregate gross proceeds of up to $500,000 through the sale of common shares and flow-through shares.
The offering comprises up to 3,000,000 common shares priced at $0.10 per share to raise $300,000 for general working capital, alongside up to 1,600,000 flow-through common shares at $0.125 per share to generate up to $200,000. Proceeds from the flow-through share component will be used to incur eligible Canadian exploration expenses that qualify as flow-through mining expenditures under the Income Tax Act.
All securities issued under the offering will be subject to a four-month hold period under Canadian securities laws. Company insiders are expected to participate in the financing, and finder's fees may be paid.
Sasquatch focuses on reclaiming waste rock at legacy mine sites and logging road areas to recover copper, gold, silver, and other valuable minerals using ore-sorting processes. Its portfolio includes the Mount Sicker, Blue Grouse, and Santana properties, as well as the Alberni Claim Group and Slesse Property in British Columbia.
The company is advancing its Mount Sicker project toward permitting, having recently responded to comments from the BC Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals on its Notice of Work application while awaiting a final site closure report from Okane Consultants. Following an initial XRT ore-sorting test program, Sasquatch plans to complete further metallurgical testing in the coming months to help determine optimal offtake terms for high-sulphide material sorted from Mount Sicker waste rock.
