Savannah Goldfields Limited has scheduled the start of its 2026 exploration drilling programme for next week across the Georgetown and Agate Creek gold projects in Queensland, following the receipt of completed cultural heritage surveys covering the target areas.

The initial campaign will span 2,000 to 6,000 metres across multiple high-priority targets, beginning at the Electric Light prospect. Drilling is anticipated to take up to 12 weeks to complete.

The Georgetown Gold Processing Plant serves as the central processing facility for Savannah's regional gold assets. The 2026 exploration programme is designed to explore for shallow oxide gold mineralisation to supply additional short-term feed to the plant, alongside larger gold sulphide targets aimed at providing long-term mill feed.

Recent exploration has expanded the resource base supporting the processing hub. A July 2026 Mineral Resource update for the Red Dam deposit reported 396 kilotonnes at 4.6 g/t gold containing 58,600 ounces of gold, representing a 96% increase in tonnage and a 59% increase in contained gold compared to the previous 2022 estimate. That update also incorporated first-time Indicated Mineral Resources at both Red Dam and Electric Light, following 2025 drilling that intersected significant gold mineralisation across multiple prospects.

In addition to the Georgetown tenements, Savannah holds the Agate Creek project located approximately 100 kilometres south of the Georgetown facility. Environmental approvals were secured in July 2026 to mine and transport 460,000 tonnes of ore averaging 2.5 g/t gold from Agate Creek to the Georgetown plant over a two-year period. Mining at Agate Creek is scheduled to recommence following the finalisation of early site works and approval of an updated rehabilitation cost estimate for Year 1 mining operations.
