Scotia Metals Identifies Five Spodumene Boulder Trains Grading Up to 3.40% Li2O at Acadia Project

Scotia Metals Corp. has identified 32 high-grade spodumene boulders assaying between 1.0% and 3.40% Li2O across five discrete boulder trains at the Acadia Lithium Project’s Green Wolf target in southwestern Nova Scotia.

The boulder trains span an area of approximately 3 kilometres by 1 kilometre and include seven samples ranging from 2.00% to 3.40% Li2O. The individual spodumene crystals exhibit salmon-pink UV fluorescence, indicating fresh and largely unweathered material.

The Green Wolf target lies less than 8 kilometres up-ice from Nova Scotia's Brazil Lake deposit. Documented glacial transport distances for spodumene boulders at Brazil Lake typically range from 50 metres to less than 1 kilometre, pointing to potential proximal bedrock sources within the company's land holdings.

The Acadia Project comprises 43 exploration licences covering 37,268 hectares and 2,320 mineral claims, spanning more than 80 kilometres of prospective LCT pegmatite strike. Scotia Metals completed a concurrent financing of $5.8 million upon listing, which provides funding through the completion of the current target-definition program.

Coarse, angular spodumene in surface float has been the first evidence of pegmatite swarms that later supported operating mines at systems I have worked on. What matters at Green Wolf is the behaviour right next door: glacial transport at Brazil Lake is documented from as far as 50 metres to less than a kilometre, and Green Wolf's boulders sit less than eight kilometres up-ice, on the same regional trend as Brazil Lake, in five separate aligned trains rather than one. It points to multiple bedrock sources, typical of LCT pegmatite swarms, and it points to them being on our ground. Detailed till sampling and geophysics will tell us where to put the first hole.”

Detailed till sampling is currently underway across all five boulder trains at Green Wolf, to be followed by ground geophysics. Scotia Metals expects to complete this work and publish a ranked first-order drill target inventory, alongside the design and timing of an initial scout drilling program. These upcoming results will guide the placement of the company's first drill holes across the target area.
