Selkirk Copper Mines Inc. has intersected high-grade mineralization in the centre of the 202 Lens at the Minto Project in Yukon, returning 6.01% copper, 8.77 g/t gold, and 36.6 g/t silver over 1.93 metres within a broader interval of 1.49% copper equivalent over 33 metres in drill hole 26SCM190.

The active Phase 2 drill program has completed 45,299 metres across 187 holes, representing 90% of its planned 50,000-metre scope. Step-out drilling at Minto North in hole 26SCM205 intersected 3.43% copper, 0.36 g/t gold, and 47 g/t silver over 3.7 metres within a 13.3-metre interval grading 2.25% copper equivalent, indicating potential for southern expansion beyond a previously interpreted fault. At Area 118, a 50-metre step-out in hole 26SCM188 returned 3.39% copper, 0.61 g/t gold, and 16.5 g/t silver over 6.0 metres within a 23-metre interval grading 1.66% copper equivalent, located 125 metres from historical underground development.

“In a continuation of the positive drill results from the Phase 1 program, the Phase 2 program, led by the exploration and development team, continues to expand known zones of mineralization in the central mine area with very good grade copper-gold-silver intercepts over mineable widths at Minto North and Area 118.”

Selkirk Copper controls 26,850 hectares of mineral claims in the Minto-Carmacks copper belt centered on the former Minto mine infrastructure, which includes a 4,100-tonne-per-day processing plant, a 400-person camp, and water treatment facilities. The company operates in partnership with the Selkirk First Nation, which holds a controlling equity stake through a wholly owned subsidiary.

“In the last 11 months Selkirk Copper has completed over 97,000 m of diamond drilling and is on track to exceed 100,000 m by the end of August. Building on the positive results of the Phase 1 drill program and the significant growth in Measured, Indicated, and Inferred Resources described in the Mineral Resource Update of July 30, we are diligently advancing the PEA which we are targeting to complete in Q3 2026.”

The ongoing technical work incorporates data from a Phase 1 campaign that totaled 52,288 metres across 175 holes. Selkirk Copper is targeting completion of the Preliminary Economic Assessment in the third quarter of 2026, with project readiness activities planned to support a potential restart decision for the Minto mine in mid-2027.
