Sierra Nevada Gold Inc. has returned high-grade surface sampling results from the As Safra Copper-Gold Project in Saudi Arabia, highlighted by rock chip assay SAF142 returning 15.8% copper, 0.62g/t gold, and 9.45g/t silver.

Recent surface sampling also delivered standout grades from other locations, including sample SAF145 with 9.77% copper, 0.84g/t gold, and 1.50g/t silver, and sample SAF147 returning 5.83g/t gold and 3.26% copper. Additional samples SAF154 and SAF156 yielded 3.63% copper and 2.86% copper alongside pathfinder elements bismuth and tellurium.

The sampling program defined a new, undrilled high-grade copper target situated approximately 200 metres east of the principal ancient workings. This target runs along a 500-metre NNE trend and shares a multielement signature similar to mineralisation found approximately 2.5 kilometres to the south.

The company also expanded the As Safra Southeast target by approximately 200 metres to the NNW and 100 metres to the SSW. In addition, the southern polymetallic breccia discovery was expanded by 150 metres north and 200 metres west, returning up to 2.86g/t gold, 0.80% copper, and 5.22% zinc. Sample SAF130 returned 1.69g/t gold, 5.0g/t silver, 0.21% copper, 0.71% lead, and 5.22% zinc, while sample SAF164 returned 2.86g/t gold, 0.80% copper, 0.25% lead, and 0.61% zinc.

“These results have materially expanded our next drilling opportunity at As Safra. We have defined a new, undrilled high-grade copper target at North Central, extended the As Safra Southeast target in both directions, and significantly expanded the footprint of the recently discovered southern polymetallic system.”

Sierra Nevada Gold holds the As Safra Project through Arabian American Minerals LLC, a wholly owned Saudi Arabian subsidiary established in March 2026. The company commenced a strategic review and commercialisation process for its Nevada exploration asset portfolio in August 2026 to direct capital and management resources toward its Saudi Arabian operations.

“With the complete Phase 1 drilling results expected shortly, we are entering our expanded Phase 2 program with a larger and better-defined pipeline of high-priority targets than we had at the start of Phase 1.”

Sierra Nevada Gold expects to report results from 21 remaining Phase 1 drill holes and updated geophysical interpretations at As Safra over the next two weeks. The new datasets are being integrated to finalise targeting for the expanded Phase 2 drilling program, which is expected to commence within 8 weeks.
