Silver Hammer Mining Corp. has scheduled a Fall exploration program at the Silver Strand Project in Kootenai County, Idaho, aiming to commence drilling in October 2026.

The initial program comprises five holes totaling 750 metres, expandable to eight holes and 2,438 metres. Work targets areas down strike from historical underground workings at the Strand Mine alongside four priority geophysical anomalies.

The company submitted its reclamation bond in late August and holds permitted access in place. Drilling will run concurrently with access road resurfacing, geological mapping, prospecting and sampling.

Silver Strand is a past-producing high-grade silver mine featuring existing underground workings. Silver Hammer holds a 100% interest in three exploration-stage silver properties in the United States, comprising Silver Strand in Idaho alongside the Eliza and Silverton projects in Nevada.

“We are excited to be in a position to move toward drilling at Silver Strand. With our reclamation bond now submitted and our permitted access in place, we are discussing the project with several drill contractors with the goal of commencing our planned program in October 2026.” — Peter A. Ball, President & CEO

Elsewhere in the district, Bunker Hill Mining Corp. reported underground exploration drilling intersecting silver-equivalent metal grades up to 24.43 oz/ton at the Cate-8 zone of its Bunker Hill Mine.
