Orogen Royalties Secures 2% NSR on Silver North’s Haldane Property

Orogen Royalties has acquired a combined 2% Net Smelter Royalty on the Haldane Property from four underlying royalty holders. Under the terms of the completed agreement, Orogen purchased a 0.5% NSR from each of the four individuals for a total consideration of $500,000 in cash and a percentage of future royalty revenue capped at $2.5 million.
The transaction places the combined 2% royalty interest in Orogen’s portfolio while Silver North Resources Ltd. advances an active field campaign at the Yukon property. Silver North currently has two diamond drill rigs in operation on site. One rig is stepping out along strike and down dip to expand high-grade silver-lead-zinc mineralization at the Main Fault target. The second rig is testing the Bighorn target, a separate vein prospect located three kilometres to the northwest.
“We believe this purchase recognizes the strong potential of the Haldane Property to host a significant silver resource in a historic silver camp,” stated Jason Weber, P.Geo., President and CEO of Silver North. “Prior to this, Orogen has focused primarily on organic royalty generation, with this purchase marking only its second acquired royalty and further underscoring the quality exploration targets at the Haldane Property.” — Jason Weber, President and CEO
Silver North is fully funded for its ongoing field operations following a $2.25 million financing completed in December 2025 and a subsequent $11.6 million financing closed in February 2026. These capital raises secure the funds required to support exploration and operations across a two-year horizon.
The 2026 drilling campaign at Haldane is scheduled to continue operating into October. Analytical results for the first five completed drill holes of the current program are anticipated to begin arriving in September.
