Silver Pony Resources has surpassed 1,000 metres of diamond drilling at its Silver Pony project in southeastern British Columbia, with the first three holes of the maiden exploration program now complete. The company reports the program has reached a total of approximately 1,013 metres, and a fourth hole is currently underway.

The drilling is designed as a systematic, first-pass test of multiple targets along the Badshot trend. Each hole aims to establish a structural framework to guide subsequent exploration, with the team specifically targeting evidence of carbonate replacement processes. These systems are defined by hot, metal-bearing fluids reacting with carbonate host rocks—such as limestone or marble—often resulting in high-grade concentrations of silver, lead, zinc, and copper.

Each of the three completed holes returned evidence supporting this model, including observed dolomitization and manganese enrichment along key stratigraphic contacts. These initial findings were identified through visual logging and preliminary portable X-ray fluorescence (pXRF) analysis, which the company is using for geological guidance.

The drill program targets are supported by historic high-grade surface sampling. The Black Warrior target has previously returned a chip sample of 3,549 g/t silver, while the Old Gold target area yielded a grab sample containing 12,147 g/t silver and 10.7% copper.

“Our Silver Pony team is thrilled to have the drills turning into our high-priority silver targets already and with a swift move to exploration concurrent to our listing. There was a major correction in the precious metals market over recent months, as well as the equity markets, but that said, we are optimistic our timing with the work and results expected over the coming months, will coincide with a healthy recovery in the macro environment.”

The exploration work at the project commenced in early July 2026, following a property-wide mapping and prospecting program. Hole SP26-001 was completed to a depth of 298.4 metres at the Black Warrior target, where it intersected repeated marble and argillite panels consistent with the project's geological model. SP26-002 reached 352.77 metres and represented the first drill test of the Badshot Formation contact on the property. The third hole, SP26-003, was drilled to 361.7 metres at the Old Gold target.

Core samples from these three holes have been submitted to Actlabs for analysis. Investors are awaiting formal laboratory assay results, which the company expects to receive over the coming months.

Silver Pony is currently trading at $0.14 and is up 12.00% in the session on August 5, 2026. The company intends to continue the current Phase 1 diamond drill program, using data from the completed holes to refine the structural model for further testing.
