Silver Pony Resources Corp. returned up to 103.0 g/t Au and 40.0 g/t Au from surface grab samples collected at historic workings on the Ophir-Lade target within the Silver Pony Project in southeastern British Columbia.

The results form part of an ongoing property-wide mapping campaign that has recorded 413 field stations, 306 structural measurements and 47 rock samples across the property. Five of eleven analyzed surface samples returned greater than 100 ppb Au across four separate target areas. Multi-element analyses covering silver, lead, zinc and copper remain pending.

Drilling has advanced concurrently. Hole SP26-003 was completed at 361.7 metres in the Old Gold target area, bringing total program meterage across four completed and advancing holes to approximately 1,225 metres. The first three completed holes totaled 1,012.87 metres and tested the Black Warrior and Old Gold targets, intersecting the dolomitization, manganese enrichment and dissolution porosity predicted by the project's carbonate replacement model. Hole SP26-004 has remained in the Badshot carbonate below 57 metres and carries consistent zinc based on core logging and portable X-ray fluorescence analysis.

Following completion of the first pass at Black Warrior, the drill rig is demobilizing to the Revelstoke Trend to test the schist and limestone contact along a mineralized trend exposed at surface over at least 1.1 kilometres with no prior drilling. Targets along the trend are being defined by two additional senior field mappers and on-site structural geologist Olga Ankindinova of SubSurface Intelligence Consulting Group.

The company expects to report further preliminary assay results reflecting silver and other key metals over the coming months.
