Sinclair Gold Doubles Mt Henry Resource to 1.8Moz

Sinclair Gold Ltd has doubled the Mineral Resource estimate for the Mt Henry Gold Project in Western Australia to 1.8 million ounces of gold, shifting its inventory up from the 915,000 ounces recorded when it acquired the asset in February 2026.
The updated Mineral Resource stands at 47.9 million tonnes at 1.2 grams per tonne gold for 1.8 million ounces, representing a 0.9 million ounce increase in just six months. The entire addition stems from growth at the Mt Henry and Selene deposits, incorporating data from 20,426 metres of drilling completed up to the July 31 cut-off date. This forms part of an ongoing 50,000-metre campaign launched after the company took over the project in March 2026.
Higher-confidence JORC Measured and Indicated categories now account for 1.3 million ounces, or more than 70% of the total resource. The updated estimate is reported at a 0.5 gram per tonne cut-off and constrained within pit shells using a gold price of A$3,900 per ounce. Approximately 90% of the combined Mt Henry and Selene inventory sits within 200 metres of the surface, highlighting open-pit potential.
“We acquired Mt Henry because we saw a lot of opportunity to grow the Resource. Six months later, we have doubled it to 1.8Moz at 1.2g/t Au. That's an outstanding result and validates what we saw in the Project when we acquired it.”
“And we still see plenty of growth from here. Both Mt Henry and Selene remain open, we are already drilling outside the current MRE, and we have assays pending from 25 holes drilled beyond the Resource.”
— Jeff Sansom, Chief Executive
Reaching the 20,000-metre drilling mark in August also triggered a contingent acquisition milestone, which Sinclair settled via a $5 million cash payment to Westgold Resources Limited.
Five drill rigs are now operating on-site as step-out drilling continues to test extensions beyond the current resource boundary. Sinclair plans to incorporate these ongoing results into another Mineral Resource update scheduled before the end of fiscal year 2027.
