Skeleton Coast Uranium Corp. has completed the first phase of historical data digitisation across Exclusive Prospecting Licences 8617, 8208, and 9727 in Namibia, identifying preliminary conceptual exploration targets for basement-hosted uranium and secondary palaeochannel and calcrete-hosted uranium mineralisation.

The digitised datasets compiled by Practara include regional geological mapping, historical exploration reports, airborne geophysics, radiometrics, and geochemistry. Skeleton Coast Uranium holds options to acquire 70% to 75% controlling interests across five EPLs covering 610 square kilometres in the Erongo Region of Namibia.

The company's five licences are located either adjacent to or within approximately 30 kilometres of established regional uranium operations, including the Rössing, Husab, and Langer Heinrich mines. To fund upcoming exploration, Skeleton Coast Uranium closed a $5 million non-brokered private placement in April 2026.

The 2026-2027 exploration programs across EPLs 8617, 8208, and 9727 will include additional airborne and ground geophysics, field mapping, and surface sampling. The company plans to execute up to 4,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling during the 2026 exploration program.

Commenting on the milestone, Chief Executive Officer Dr. Nathan Chutas said, “In finalising the digitisation of the datasets for EPLs 8617, 8208 and 9727, Skeleton Coast Uranium has consolidated a comprehensive digital record of historical exploration providing valuable insights into the exploration potential of these large-scale uranium licences located in Namibia's Erongo Region.” He added that the licences have seen very limited modern exploration and that more comprehensive data will help identify priority targets amid the region's established uranium endowment.
