SLAM Exploration has intersected a 24.60-metre core interval grading 1.19% copper equivalent from hole GW26-29 at the Goodwin copper-nickel-cobalt project in New Brunswick's Bathurst Mining Camp.

The interval from hole GW26-29 includes 0.33% copper, 0.43% nickel, and 0.11% cobalt across a core length from 20.20 to 44.80 metres, with additional mineralised zones intercepted deeper in the hole. SLAM calculated recovered grades using a 95% recovery rate and metal prices published on August 11, 2026. Hole GW26-29 is a 100-metre step-out along strike to the southeast of hole GW25-15 on the Logan zone.

Alongside the step-out results, SLAM made a new massive sulphide discovery in hole GW26-36 located 2,000 metres northwest of the Logan zone, extending the copper-nickel-cobalt potential at Goodwin. All 12 completed diamond drill holes, numbered GW26-26 through GW26-38, intersected host gabbro with variable sulphide mineralisation ranging from disseminated to massive.

The company has drilled 2,600 metres across these 12 holes, completing approximately 37% of its planned 7,000-metre diamond drilling program for 2026. SLAM submitted 992 core samples from the program for multi-element assay and expects to report results in subsequent news releases as they are received. The drilling campaign has also received a $60,000 grant from the Province of New Brunswick.

The Goodwin project covers 14,000 hectares in the Bathurst Mining Camp and follows previous drilling campaigns, including significant historical intercepts such as 2.19% copper equivalent over 64.90 metres from hole GW24-02. SLAM's broader corporate portfolio comprises 40,000 hectares of mineral claim holdings in New Brunswick, anchored by the Goodwin project alongside gold assets including the Jake Lee and Menneval projects.
