Solaris Resources Inc. has finalized community Life Plans and renewed major Indigenous cooperation agreements at its flagship Warintza copper project in southeastern Ecuador, advancing the social foundation required for the government-led consultation process and ongoing permitting workstreams.

The Warints and Yawi communities have finalized their respective Life Plans, recognizing mining as an important resource to support their long-term development objectives, subject to customary community approval. The milestone coincides with the renewal of Solaris' cooperation agreements with the Interprovincial Federation of Shuar Centers and the Pueblo Shuar Arutam Organization, reinforcing stakeholder engagement across representative and local levels.

Permitting activities continue in parallel following the technical approval of the Environmental Impact Assessment, with Solaris progressing water permits, mining concession administrative processes, and infrastructure clearances with government agencies.

Technical studies and drilling are also advancing toward the next phase of development at Warintza, with drilling scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026 alongside geotechnical and hydrogeological field investigations. These programs build on the November 2025 Pre-Feasibility Study, which established a post-tax net present value of US$4,617 million and a maiden Mineral Reserve of 1.3 billion tonnes across a 22-year mine life.

Operations are backed by a balance sheet holding US$54 million in cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, 2026. Solaris expects to receive the third and final US$50 million tranche under its May 2025 financing package with Royal Gold during the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to the completion of required security filings.

In the surrounding southeastern Ecuador district, Auro Metals reported broad gold and copper intercepts, including 496.5 metres grading 0.76 g/t gold and 0.12% copper, from its Phase I drill program at the nearby Santa Barbara project.
