Solstice Closes Leckie Gold Zone Acquisition

Solstice Gold Corp. has completed the acquisition of the Leckie Gold Zone and 43 unpatented mining claims, expanding its Strathy Gold Project in Ontario to 57 square kilometres.
The transaction expands the project footprint from the 41 square kilometres originally acquired when Solstice first secured the Temagami Greenstone Belt land package in June 2024. Under the terms of the definitive purchase agreement, Solstice paid $600,000 in cash, issued two million common shares subject to a 12-month hold period, and transferred 11 unpatented claims. To fund the cash payment, Solstice closed a fully subscribed private placement on September 4, 2026, raising gross proceeds of approximately $650,000 at $0.06 per share. Final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange remains pending.
The acquired Leckie property hosts a 160-metre-deep shaft, underground development across five levels, and more than 23,000 metres of historical drilling. Historical intercepts include 4.85 g/t gold over 17.10 metres, 7.24 g/t gold over 10.45 metres, and 9.10 g/t gold over 5.24 metres.
“Closing the Leckie Gold Zone acquisition cements the Strathy Gold Project as the newest exciting exploration play in the Abitibi. We now have district-scale control of gold potential in the Temagami Greenstone Belt, including an area of historical drilling that hosts significant historical gold intercepts that are open for follow up. Strathy now combines near-term brownfields exploration upside at the Leckie Gold Zone with significant greenfields discovery potential across a district-scale land package. Our focus now turns to commencing groundwork immediately in preparation for drilling the Leckie Gold Zone and surrounding discoveries to demonstrate a possibly much larger gold system and potential resource. We believe this next phase of exploration has the potential to be an important catalyst for value creation for Solstice Gold shareholders .”
