Southern Cross Gold Consolidated Ltd has intersected 0.6 metres grading 972.0 g/t gold and 8.9% antimony from 808.5 metres depth at the 100%-owned Sunday Creek Gold-Antimony Project in Victoria, Australia.

The headline intercept from drill hole SDDSC222W1 in the Apollo area ranks as the ninth-best composite intersection drilled at the project to date and extends the A130 vein set 40 metres below its previously known vertical depth extent, approximately 620 metres below surface. Drill hole SDDSC222 was extended and wedged into SDDSC222W1 after intersecting the Admiral Fault, saving an estimated 750 metres of future drilling.

Shallow drilling in the Apollo East corridor intersected high-grade mineralization closer to surface. Drill hole SDDSC227 returned 5.1 metres at 27.2 g/t gold equivalent from 260.9 metres, including a 2.6-metre interval at 51.1 g/t gold equivalent. This intercept features individual high-grade assays of 186.0 g/t gold and 116.0 g/t gold with 32.5% antimony, sitting 144 metres below surface as the shallowest high-grade intersection drilled in Apollo East to date.

The same hole delivered the easternmost significant intersection drilled at the main Sunday Creek project, located approximately 110 metres below surface mineralization identified in a 2021 surface trench. Together with results from SDDSC222 and SDDSC223, the Apollo East corridor is now defined across 140 metres of horizontal strike.

“This release does two things at once. SDDSC222 and its wedge SDDSC222W1 pushed Apollo down-dip, returning 972 g/t gold over 0.6 m at 620 metres vertical depth, our 9 th best intersection at Sunday Creek.”

“Apollo East is open to the east and we intend to keep pushing it in that direction.”

— Michael Hudson, President & CEO

The company is advancing a 200,000-metre drill program at Sunday Creek utilizing eleven operational drill rigs through Q1 2027, with assay results pending from 72 drill holes across the project and surrounding region.
