Southern Hemisphere Mining Limited has intersected further broad zones of copper sulphide mineralisation in diamond drilling at its 100%-owned Llahuin Copper-Gold-Molybdenum Project in Chile, highlighted by hole 24LHRD056 returning 180 metres at 0.39% copper equivalent from surface, alongside 30 metres at 0.31% copper equivalent from 214 metres.

The diamond drilling program was designed to test areas below 2024 reverse circulation drilling where work had stopped due to water ingress. Hole 24LHRD048 returned 170 metres at 0.37% copper equivalent from 4 metres, while previously reported hole 23LHRD033 yielded 102 metres at 0.37% copper equivalent from surface and 70 metres at 0.4% copper equivalent from 119 metres. Core samples of HQ3 size were collected on a half-core two-metre basis and assayed at ALS Santiago.

Southern Hemisphere discovered both the Llahuin project and the Los Pumas Battery Metals Manganese Project in Chile. Across the wider district, initial discovery drilling at the Piuquenes project by Andina Copper Corporation returned 468 metres at 0.50% copper and 0.30 g/t gold in July 2026.

“The initial results extending Llahuin Copper-Gold south with intersections to 241m are rewarding and proving that there is a lot more to Llahuin than ever previously thought. They underpin the exploration target of 260mt-340mt (adding to the existing JORC compliant resource of 218mt) towards potential resource scale for a long-life copper operation*. These results are putting Southern Hemisphere Mining on the list as a notable copper junior portfolio candidate.”

Further diamond drilling is scheduled to commence in September 2026 to test near-surface and deeper zones, initially at Ferro South. The company is targeting near-surface, higher-than-resource grade zones to potentially combine into a series of starter pits to assist early project economics, while also pursuing low-cost ore beneficiation testwork to increase material grades and reduce tonnes processed.

“The follow-up diamond drilling program commences next month. The Company is now pursuing low-cost options of ore beneficiation to increase the grade of potential material to be processed in line with higher grade material being targeted in the upcoming diamond drilling program.”

Further assay results from the ongoing exploration campaign will be reported as they become available.
