SPC Nickel Corp. has completed major ground geophysical surveys at its 100%-owned, 496 square-kilometre Muskox Project in Nunavut, Canada, as part of an ongoing effort to generate ranked drill targets for the 2027 field season.

The summer program transitioned from broad airborne work to targeted ground methods. The company completed a roughly 60 square-kilometre ground magnetotelluric survey across a 17-kilometre by 3.5-kilometre corridor and finished 56 line kilometres of surface time-domain electromagnetic surveys across five grids. Quantec Geoscience Ltd. produced preliminary two-dimensional resistivity pseudo-sections along each survey line, which are now being integrated into a comprehensive three-dimensional inversion model of the intrusion alongside independent plate models for each anomaly.

The current ground work follows the 2025 exploration campaign, which flew 1,020 line kilometres of MobileMT airborne geophysics and 1,340 line kilometres of airborne electromagnetic surveys over the Muskox Intrusion.

SPC Nickel is scheduled to commence Phase 2 of its ground electromagnetic survey in mid-August 2026 to continue testing high-priority targets generated from that earlier airborne dataset. A ten-day geological field program and a heritage resource impact assessment are also underway this month to ground-truth anomalies, evaluate camp locations, and sample historical showings across the 125-kilometre intrusion system, which was originally discovered in the 1950s by Inco.
