Sranan Gold Hits 39.55 g/t Gold in Lawatino Trenching
Sranan Gold Corp. has returned 39.55 grams per tonne gold over a 1-metre interval from trenching at the 101 Zone within its Lawatino Gold Project in southeastern Suriname.
The assay results from continuing reconnaissance and channel sampling include 1.29 grams per tonne gold over a 4-metre interval at the Bodoe Zone, situated approximately 1.5 kilometres away from the 101 Zone. Geological crews are systematically trenching and sampling the area between the two zones to define the distribution and structural controls of mineralization along the trend.

The 18,468-hectare property lies along the Central Guiana Shear Zone, a regional structural corridor associated with gold mineralization in the district. In the surrounding area, Founders Metals Inc. reported high-grade drill results at the Antino gold project including 27.0 metres at 20.38 grams per tonne gold.

The Lawatino project complements Sranan’s flagship Tapanahony Project, which covers 29,000 hectares in an artisanal gold mining district. To fund exploration across the portfolio, Sranan closed a private placement for gross proceeds of $3,589,074 in May 2026.
The company is evaluating additional targets across the broader Lawatino concession through geological mapping, surface sampling and remote-sensing data interpretation. Subject to exploration results and logistics, Sranan plans to mobilize drilling equipment to the property in late 2026.
