St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. has commenced a diamond drilling program at the Thormodsdalur gold project in Iceland.

Finland-based Arctic Drilling Company Oy Ltd is carrying out the program under an arrangement with Aurania Resources Ltd., which is advancing the project pursuant to a definitive option agreement entered into with St-Georges and its wholly owned Icelandic subsidiary, Iceland Resources ehf, in April 2026.

The campaign comprises six holes totaling approximately 770 metres and takes about one month. Once finished, drill-core samples will be submitted for assay.

The program involves five twin holes designed to re-test historical intercepts using modern sampling and quality control procedures. A sixth hole will test a new target associated with surface rock-chip boulder samples.

St-Georges previously acquired Melmi ehf in 2020 and completed eleven diamond drill holes totaling approximately 1,780 metres at the project.
