Stallion Uranium Identifies Priority Targets at Moonlite Project
Stallion Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: STUD) has completed an interpretation of its airborne geophysical survey over the Stone Island target, located within the Moonlite project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. The company processed data from a 676 line-kilometre Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) Plus survey, integrating it with magnetic tilt derivative data to map the property’s underlying geology. This work has successfully delineated four priority target areas, labeled A through D, which are characterized by conductive basement trends and structural offsets that the company believes are conducive to hosting uranium mineralization.
"We are now clearly defining multiple priority target areas at the Stone Island Target through the integration of VTEM and magnetic data. The identification of several discrete targets significantly expands our exploration pipeline and reinforces the broader potential of the Moonlite Project within the Southwestern Athabasca Basin."
— Matthew Schwab, CEO
The geophysical analysis revealed strong to moderate time constant responses that suggest the presence of graphitic basement structures. In the Athabasca Basin, such conductors are frequently associated with unconformity-related uranium systems. The integration of magnetic data allowed the exploration team to identify specific fault-controlled architectural features, including cross-cutting lineaments and offsets, which often serve as primary conduits for mineralizing fluids. These structural zones remain the focus for future exploration activity.

To advance these prospects, the company has initiated plate modelling and inversion of the VTEM dataset. This technical process is designed to refine the geometry and depth of the identified conductors, providing a clearer picture of the subsurface environment. These results will serve as the foundation for upcoming systematic drill testing of the four priority targets, as the team moves toward testing the potential of the Stone Island corridor.
