Standard Uranium Confirms Anomalous Uranium Across All Holes in Corvo Drill Program
Standard Uranium Ltd. has released geological and geochemical assay results from its winter 2026 drill program at the Corvo Uranium Project in northeastern Saskatchewan, confirming anomalous uranium in all nine completed drill holes.
The 2,457-metre reconnaissance program, completed across ten holes with one hole abandoned due to ground conditions, targeted the Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Tribeca areas. Analytical results returned 55 metres of weakly anomalous uranium exceeding 10 parts per million, including 23 metres above 50 ppm and 13 metres of highly anomalous uranium exceeding 100 ppm.

The project is subject to a three-year earn-in option agreement with Aventis Energy Inc., under which Aventis funds exploration expenditures to earn a 75% interest. The winter drilling campaign marked the first exploration drilling conducted at the Corvo project in more than 40 years.
Geochemical analysis identified consistently elevated pathfinder elements including vanadium, cobalt, copper, and nickel alongside uranium across all drill holes. Calculated geochemical ratios, including uranium-to-thorium ratios averaging 1.5 to 5 and reaching up to 21 locally, alongside lead isotope ratios exceeding 1,000 in multiple intervals, indicated source material rich in uranium-238 relative to thorium. Geological modeling also defined stacked graphitic faults and high-strain zones associated with hydrothermal alteration across the three target areas.

Standard Uranium is planning additional surface exploration and geophysical work in the coming months, followed by a second phase drilling program in 2027 to follow up along strike of mineralized drill holes.
