Stellar Resources (ASX: SRZ) has received formal notification that its new Ringville Exploration Licence has been granted in Tasmania, providing the company with a five-year window to explore ground directly adjacent to the Renison Tin Mine. The license, which runs until mid-2031, covers 34 square kilometres when combined with the existing, contiguous Concert Creek licence to form the East Renison project.

"Securing the Ringville Exploration Licence is a highly strategic addition that, together with our Concert Creek licence, solidifies our footprint at the East Renison Project immediately contiguous to the world-class Renison Tin Mine area." — Simon Taylor, Managing Director

The acquisition is significant for its geological positioning. Ringville sits atop the Pine Hill Granite, which serves as the source of tin mineralisation in the local district, and it captures the interpreted continuation of the Federal-Bassett Fault. This structural corridor is considered a primary control for tin deposits in the area. Past exploration activities within the newly granted area bolster the company's outlook, with historical drilling returning high-grade results, including an intercept of 1.5 metres at 6.9% Sn from 87 metres.

With the licence now in hand, the company is preparing for a period of intensified exploration. Technical teams can proceed with ground-based electromagnetic surveys at the Godkin prospect within the Ringville area this spring. This work aims to finalise targets for a dedicated drill program slated for 2027. Meanwhile, Stellar is focused on its broader project pipeline, with drilling at the neighbouring Concert Creek license scheduled for late spring or early summer 2026. These exploration initiatives coincide with a broader push to advance the company's asset base, as it looks toward the release of the Heemskirk project prefeasibility study in the third quarter of 2026.
