Sterling Metals reported assay results from four drill holes at the MEPS Zone within the Soo Copper Project near Batchewana Bay, Ontario, extending the discovery's strike length by 300 metres to over 1.3 kilometres.

Drill hole SC-26-16 returned 451 metres grading 0.30% copper equivalent from bedrock, including a 101-metre interval at 0.50% copper equivalent containing a 12-metre section at 1.70% copper equivalent.

The hole also intersected a granite porphyry stock at 301 metres downhole, confirming the intrusion is mineralized with elevated molybdenum and copper. This interval returned 0.32% copper equivalent over 162.1 metres, with the final three metres yielding molybdenum grades of 2,080 ppm, 2,060 ppm, and 659 ppm.

Assay results from holes SC-26-14 through SC-26-17 define the mineralized footprint, which remains open to the east and at depth. SC-26-15, collared 100 metres east of earlier drilling, intersected a molybdenum-rich zone grading 0.79% copper equivalent over 26 metres near the bottom of the hole. Meanwhile, SC-26-17 intercepted broad copper-molybdenum mineralization, including a high-grade molybdenite vein near 86 metres depth grading 1.31% copper equivalent over nearly 10 metres.

The Soo Copper Project is the focus of an ongoing 20,000-metre drilling program testing large-scale porphyry copper mineralization across multiple targets in Ontario. Sterling Metals previously consolidated a land package exceeding 35,000 hectares across the Batchewana Copper Belt through its acquisition of QcX Gold Corp., with follow-up drilling planned to test the geometry, continuity, and grade distribution of the felsic porphyry-associated copper zones and deeper mineralized intrusive and breccia domains.
