Storm Exploration Inc. has expanded its previously announced non-brokered private placement from $2,000,000 up to aggregate gross proceeds of $2,700,000, driven by increased investor demand.

The upsized financing now consists of up to 6,750,000 units of the company at a price of $0.40 per unit. Storm Exploration may pay finder's fees in connection with the offering, subject to and in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. All other terms remain unchanged from disclosures made on August 26, 2026, and the offering remains subject to the approval of the exchange.

The capital expansion follows the initial $2,000,000 financing agreement announced in late August, where a corporation beneficially owned by Eric Sprott subscribed for the entire offering to secure largest shareholder status.

Funds raised support ongoing preparations at the 100% owned Gold Standard Project, located 60 kilometres north of Fort Frances in northwestern Ontario. Storm Exploration holds a three-year exploration drill permit covering the entire 5-kilometre length of the property's volcanogenic massive sulphide target and expects to commence up to 3,000 metres of drilling in the third quarter of 2026.

Reflecting heightened market interest following the initial funding milestones, trading volume on September 2, 2026, surged to 516% above the 50-day average of 35,614 shares.
