Sunshine Silver Mining & Refining Company has secured inclusion in the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF, with its common stock entering the fund effective at market close on September 18, 2026.

The addition occurs just three months after Sunshine completed its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange on June 4, 2026, raising US$270 million and finishing the second quarter with $288.7 million in cash and no debt.

The company is advancing its flagship Sunshine Mine in Idaho's Silver Valley toward a planned return to production in late 2028. Feasibility studies for the operation are currently underway. The deposit hosts an Indicated Mineral Resource of 103.9 million ounces of silver at an average grade of 1,022 grams per tonne, alongside an Inferred Mineral Resource of 159.8 million ounces at 776 grams per tonne.

“Inclusion in GDXJ constitutes an important milestone for Sunshine and, we believe, will introduce our story to an even broader group of precious metals investors,” said Heather White, Chief Executive Officer. “As our presence in the public markets expands, our focus remains on disciplined execution and advancing the Sunshine Mine toward a planned return to production in late 2028.”
