Surge Copper Corp. is advancing its 100%-owned Berg Copper Project in central British Columbia with technical and environmental field programs proceeding substantially as planned.

Work across the proposed open pit and infrastructure areas encompasses geotechnical drilling, hydrogeological programs, geochemical characterization, geophysical surveys, LiDAR collection, and environmental baseline studies to support feasibility-level engineering and environmental assessment preparation.

In parallel, the company is preparing its Initial Project Description, expected in early September 2026. Surge Copper released a Pre-Feasibility Study for the project in June 2026, establishing an after-tax NPV 8% of C$4.6 billion, an after-tax IRR of 24%, and maiden Proven and Probable Mineral Reserves.

The company has also concluded site visits with First Nations leadership and appointed Aman Parhar as Community Engagement and Indigenous Relations Manager.
