T2 Metals Identifies High-Grade Gold Targets in Aurora Soil Sampling

T2 Metals Corp. has returned initial auger and soil sampling results from the Aurora gold project in the Yukon’s Dawson Mining District, identifying two new untested targets with samples grading up to 10 g/t gold, 86 g/t silver and 0.74% copper.
The company received assays from 1,619 surface samples collected across a 10 km by 5 km grid during the 2026 summer exploration program, with 7% of samples returning gold values exceeding 100 ppb. The geochemical signature features elevated arsenic and bismuth, pointing toward reduced intrusion-related gold systems and skarn-style mineralization typical of the Tombstone Gold Belt.
Target Area 1, centred 850 metres west-southwest of the JC prospect, yielded a peak gold value of 10.08 g/t alongside enriched arsenic, bismuth and antimony across a 500 m by 200 m footprint over metasediments and quartzites.
Target Area 2 lies 900 metres north-northwest of the AJ prospect, returning gold in soil up to 5.89 g/t accompanied by copper up to 0.74% and silver up to 38.4 ppm. Mapping in this sector identified metasediments, gossans and monzonite intrusions.
“This first set of soil results is particularly encouraging and marks an important milestone for Aurora,” said Mark Saxon, President & CEO. “We're seeing clusters of samples with very high gold and key pathfinder metals that point us toward multiple untested target areas that suggest the Aurora mineralized system is larger than previously recognized.”
“This methodical soil sampling has so far identified two high-priority gold targets, and we're excited to see what else is to be revealed as further data comes to hand,” concluded Mr. Saxon.
T2 Metals acquired an option to earn a 100% interest in the property in February 2026 from Yukon explorer Shawn Ryan and Wildwood Exploration Inc. Historical drilling across the 76-square-kilometre property totals less than 3,000 metres. Nearby, Prospector Metals Corp. reported drill results from the TESS Zone at its ML project near the project, intersecting 7.3 g/t gold, 22.26 g/t silver, and 0.89% copper over 5.15 metres in August 2026.
Rotary air blast drilling has been completed following surface mapping that identified outcropping stibnite and chalcopyrite in rock float. T2 Metals plans to release additional infill and regional auger and soil sample results, alongside assays from the completed RAB drilling program, during the third and fourth quarters of 2026.
