Taranis Resources Inc. has commenced active diamond drilling at the newly discovered Borr Zone, located 1.3 kilometres southeast of the main Thor deposit in southeastern British Columbia.

The company previously identified the Borr Zone as a high-priority exploration target in March 2026 following 2025 drilling, advancing operations to active diamond drilling at the site. To fund the program, Taranis closed a $220,000 private placement of flow-through units on September 8, 2026, specifically allocating the proceeds to cover exploration expenses and drilling at the target.

The Borr Zone is a virgin discovery situated over 1,300 metres from the existing mineral resource area at Thor. Geologically and spatially, the zone appears to represent the down-dip extension of the main Thor deposit, which has been separated by a post-mineral lamprophyre dyke. Because a persistent, thin layer of rockslide material conceals the steep hillside, shallow diamond drill holes are required to test the geometry, strike, dip, and continuity of the mineralization.

Initial test holes are designed to establish basic structural parameters before any consideration of definition drilling. Taranis is prioritizing mineralization with potential to expand its established mineral resource over discrete surface showings.
