Taranis Results Show Consistent Critical Mineral Enrichment Across Thor and Ajax Mines

Taranis Resources Inc. has released analytical results from a study of by-product metals at its Thor and Ajax deposits, demonstrating consistent epithermal-style enrichment across both sites within its expanded property in southeastern British Columbia.

Samples collected from the True Fissure zone at the Thor project and adit dumps at the historic Ajax mine, located 4.4 kilometres to the east, showed comparable precious and base metal contents alongside critical mineral by-products. Thirteen samples from the Thor open pit averaged 2.18 g/t gold, 335 g/t silver, 0.6% copper, 8.6% lead, 22.1% zinc, and 23.0% sulfur. Ten samples from the Ajax adit dumps averaged 3.62 g/t gold, 94 g/t silver, 0.3% copper, 2.2% lead, 15.2% zinc, and 22.8% sulfur.

The study identified consistent levels of critical and by-product minerals at both locations, including cadmium, gallium, indium, gadolinium, neodymium, antimony, and tin. The broad similarity between the two sites indicates that both mineral deposits originated from the same source, pointing to a single enrichment event linked to an intrusive body in contact with the Silver Cup Anticline.

Taranis completed a 100% consolidation of the historic Silver Cup Mining District, bringing both the Thor and Ajax mines under its contiguous mineral tenures across the expanded 6,470-hectare property.

Previous exploration at Thor focused primarily on established core commodities of gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc within its National Instrument 43-101 mineral resource. The current findings indicate that by-product elements such as indium, cadmium, and antimony occur in sufficient quantities to warrant incorporation into future mineral resource updates.

Properly assessing the quantities of these by-product metals requires specialized analytical techniques. To support this work, Taranis has permitted a 10,000-tonne bulk sample at the Thor project designed to define the concentration, mode, and occurrence of the by-product metals more accurately.
