Tarrina Resources (TR8) has received the final gold assay results from its six-hole Phase 1 diamond drilling program at the Christmas Gift gold project in New South Wales. The exploration campaign, which targeted both historical mine workings and surrounding areas, has confirmed that high-grade mineralization remains in place despite previous mining activity. Notably, the drilling identified gold across a strike length exceeding 1,050 meters, a significant expansion from the approximately 200 meters historically exploited at the site.

The drilling successfully validated previous records and highlighted the potential for deeper mineralization. Key results from the program include an intercept of 0.5 meters at 42.26 g/t gold, found adjacent to a historical stope. Other notable findings include 14.5 meters at 2.23 g/t gold from 58.0 meters depth and 16.4 meters at 2.06 g/t gold from 75.6 meters. These outcomes suggest that the legacy mining operations did not exhaust the high-grade material within the system, leaving substantial opportunities for modern exploration to define the scale of the deposit at depth.

"These latest results continue to demonstrate that mineralisation at Christmas Gift extends beyond the historic mine. Gold intersections have now been confirmed over more than one kilometre of strike and beneath the historic mine workings, increasing the confidence in the broader gold system."

The geological team notes that the project area has been affected by deep weathering and supergene gold processes. This environment likely masked the true potential of the bedrock in earlier, shallower drilling efforts, which typically reached only about 33 meters. By testing deeper into the fresh rock, the current program has uncovered evidence of parallel gold-bearing structures, providing a more detailed picture of the project's structural controls. These results confirm the validity of the geological model and indicate that the gold system remains open at depth and along strike, warranting further investigation.

This Phase 1 program marks a material progression in the project's development. By confirming mineralization over more than 1,050 meters of strike, the company has successfully expanded the known footprint of the gold-bearing structures compared to earlier data. With the assay results now compiled, Tarrina Resources is preparing for the next phase of work. The company plans to initiate follow-up air core and reverse circulation (RC) drilling to systematically test new and existing targets identified both along the strike and down dip from the main workings. This upcoming campaign aims to refine the targeting of high-priority anomalies and further define the geometry of the orogenic gold system, building on the increased confidence established by this latest round of diamond drilling.
