Tartana Minerals Limited (ASX: TAT) has successfully resumed production of Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate at its namesake Tartana processing facility. The restart follows the completion of a targeted plant upgrade program, which primarily focused on the installation of a new chiller circuit. This infrastructure addition was designed to resolve critical system design bottlenecks that had caused intermittent operational disruptions throughout the previous year.

The company confirmed that the facility is now fully operational, with the processing circuit already performing stripping, crystallisation, and final product bagging. To facilitate a consistent ramp-up toward the plant’s nameplate capacity of 350 tonnes per month, management has expanded the site’s operational workforce, including the introduction of a second processing shift.

Complementing the technical upgrades, the company recently completed a restacking program for its heap leach pad. Approximately 50,000 tonnes of copper-mineralised pit fill were integrated into the leaching operation earlier this year. According to the company, this material has been under leach for six weeks and is already yielding higher copper concentrations in the pregnant leach solution ponds, which is expected to support sustained production volumes.

Reflecting on the restart, the company highlighted the dual impact of the plant modifications and the upgraded heap leach feed.
