TechGen Metals Commences Maiden Drilling at Blue Devil Project

TechGen Metals Ltd has commenced a maiden diamond drilling program at the Red Devil induced polarisation target within the Blue Devil Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia’s Halls Creek Orogen.
The drilling campaign provides the first direct subsurface test of the 100%-owned project’s two primary geophysical targets, Red Devil and Blue Devil. The initial phase focuses on the Red Devil induced polarisation target, where a core zone of high chargeability measuring approximately 30 to 35 mV/V sits 175 to 225 metres below the surface with a vertical thickness of roughly 300 metres.
The target is supported by outcropping iron-quartz-copper-gold gossans containing visual copper sulphides. Recent sampling has yielded peak rock chip values of up to 52.3% copper and 5.35 g/t gold, alongside silver grades of up to 10.8 g/t Ag. This represents an increase over previous sampling results from the prospect, which reported peak values of 42.6% copper and 4.56 g/t gold.
“Based on the geochemical and structural data, the Red Devil target is the best we've brought to market, while the Blue Devil target is the biggest and strongest in geophysical terms we've brought to market,” said Ashley Hood, Managing Director.
Following the completion of work at Red Devil, the diamond rig will move to test the Blue Devil airborne electromagnetic target. That prospect comprises three strong late-time conductors coincident with multiple copper and gold geochemical anomalies and an interpreted intrusive body across the 195-square-kilometre project area.
TechGen accepted binding commitments for a A$2.7 million two-tranche placement in June 2026 to fund exploration activities and finance the maiden drilling campaign. The company anticipates receiving assay results following the completion of drilling, with additional gold target drilling scheduled in the fourth quarter of 2026.
