TechGen Metals Limited has completed diamond drilling at the Blue Devil Project in Western Australia’s Halls Creek Orogen, concluding the program with hole BDDD002 reaching a depth of 416.5 metres.

Previous updates reported hole BDDD002 was underway and BDDD001 reached 375.1 metres at the Red Devil target. This work provides the first direct subsurface tests of the project’s two primary geophysical targets, identified through airborne electromagnetics and induced polarisation.

Both drill holes intersected interbedded sedimentary sequences. The targeted conductors are explained by widespread pyrite at Red Devil and graphitic, pyritic black shale at Blue Devil. The Blue Devil hole also intersected quartz-carbonate-pyrite zones and chalcopyrite within a quartz-pyrite vein at 47.7 metres depth. The hole received co-funding from the Western Australian government's Exploration Incentive Scheme.

Drill core from both holes is being freighted to Perth for sampling and assaying for gold and base metals. TechGen expects to receive initial assay results in October 2026.
