Techgen Metals Ltd (TG1) has identified new high-grade copper and gold mineralisation at its Blue Devil project in Western Australia. Recent geological mapping and rock chip sampling at the Red Devil prospect returned peak values of 42.6% copper and 4.56g/t gold. These results have successfully extended the identified mineralised shear zone to a strike length of approximately 1.8 kilometres, providing further definition for the company’s upcoming exploration activity.

The assay program involved sixteen rock chip samples, with nine returning values greater than 1% copper. The company noted that the samples were collected from an iron and quartz-rich gossanous outcrop. This structural zone is now considered a priority target for the firm, which has been evaluating the area using a combination of electromagnetic surveys, induced polarisation, and surface geochemistry. The data reinforces the geological model, which suggests the potential for significant mineralisation hosted within the shear.

"These new results continue to strengthen our confidence that Red Devil is part of a copper-gold mineral system, with imminent drilling having the final say."

— Ashley Hood, Managing Director

The Blue Devil project is now fully prepared for its maiden drill campaign, with all earthworks completed and regulatory approvals secured. This drilling represents the first time the Red Devil and Blue Devil targets will be tested beneath the surface. Beyond the current focus on these copper-gold prospects, Techgen Metals maintains a broader exploration portfolio in Western Australia, which includes the Dalgaranga, El Donna, and John Bull gold prospects.

The primary catalyst for the company remains the commencement of maiden drilling at the project. Following the start of this campaign, investors can expect further updates, with pending assay results scheduled for release once the initial drill holes have been completed and processed by the laboratory.
