Tectonic Metals Inc. has returned initial assay results from its 2026 drill program at the Chicken Mountain target within the Flat Gold Project in southwest Alaska, highlighted by diamond drill hole CMD26-036 intersecting 1.40 grams per tonne gold over 30.00 metres from 183.00 metres.

The 15 reported drill holes, totaling 2,276 metres, extended the vertical depth of Central Corridor 2 to over 300 metres and expanded the drilled southern margin of Chicken Mountain by 200 metres to a length of approximately 600 metres. Hole CMD26-036 also returned a separate deeper interval of 0.51 grams per tonne gold over 118.16 metres to the end of the hole at 388.16 metres, which included 0.93 grams per tonne gold over 19.50 metres.

Reverse circulation hole CMR26-142, a southwestern step-out located 1.2 kilometres south of hole CMD26-036, intersected 0.56 grams per tonne gold over 38.10 metres from 80.77 metres, including 3.06 grams per tonne gold over 4.57 metres.

The Flat Gold Project is the company’s flagship 99,840-acre property located on land predominantly owned by Doyon, Ltd. The Chicken Mountain intrusion is recognized as the primary lode source of the 1.4 million ounces of placer gold historically mined from surrounding drainages at Flat.

“Drilling at Chicken Mountain continues to answer the questions that matter at this stage: does the mineralization continue at depth, does the footprint keep growing and can higher grades recur within the broader system? These first 2026 results provide encouraging evidence on all three fronts.” — Tony Reda, Co-Founder, President & CEO

Tectonic maintains a 100% drill success rate at Chicken Mountain, with all 206 holes drilled to date intersecting gold mineralization. Assays are currently pending for 97 additional drill holes representing nearly 18,000 metres of drilling from the 2026 campaign.

“Every one of the 206 holes reported to date at Chicken Mountain has intersected gold, and over 60% have ended in mineralization. We are combining disciplined resource-delineation drilling with structural interpretation, geochemistry, environmental baseline work and geotechnical studies to evaluate Chicken Mountain's potential as a large-scale, open-pit, heap-leach gold opportunity while substantial exploration upside remains across Flat and its other intrusion targets.” — Tony Reda, Co-Founder, President & CEO

The company is working toward completing a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the Flat project in the first quarter of 2027.
